Due to the overwhelming response to the U12 girls program we will splitting the girls currently registered into two teams. Saturday's practice at 10:00 will go ahead as scheduled in the Goulds Arena with all girls attending. Saturday evening at 5:00 they will play a game in Goulds Arena (the group will be split into two evenly matched teams for this game). The practice and game on Saturday will be used as an evaluation to establish our Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams. ​Once tiered these teams will also be the teams we will be sending to the All Newfoundland Provincial Tournaments taking place March 20-22 as long as we have the availability of players and goalies. ​Please let me know by December 31,2019 if your child will be attending the Provincial Tournament. The technical director will be a part of the process for these evaluations. Both teams will be branded as Southern Shore Breakers and will wear Southern Shore Breakers Home games for the Tier 1 team will remain on Friday’s at 5:30 at SS Arena and the Tier 2 team home games will be played at the Goulds arena on Thursday evenings at 5:30. Both teams will practice together for the remainder of the season. Fees for girls joining as of this week will be prorated based on the remaining ice time for the year. The fees will be $380 for new players registering with our associations and $320 if already registered in another minor hockey program. If you are planning to register your daughter for the U12 program, we ask that you do so by Friday November 29, 2019. This will allow coaches to divide the teams appropriately.
